Like you have seen in the video, I have used this product on self and have been using it since past few weeks. It is quite "easy to get started" on this and the result starts coming from first use itself. I love getting a pedicure but hate doing the tedious process and a lot of time, find it difficult to manage time to visit salons for the same.

Scholl Express Pedi is quite handy and I can use it post-shower as well. The gentle rotating system exfoliates my foot, making it cleaner, smooth and shinier within minutes and it is indeed an asset. When I am not using the same, I cover it and keep it back in the original cover to keep the instruction and other details handy.

Okies, so am not a mother yet and irrespective of fact that I have helped many children grow [raising them] it does not count until I babysit my friends', relatives children. Do I mind babysitting? Well as long as babies are not cranky.

So we tested this oil on a friend's child who simply loves getting pampered by his mom but hates oil massages. My friend normally gives the child a cream and moisture massage. Off late she tried using the pure almond oil that her family in Punjab used to send for the child and loved the impact it has on a child. Swedish Direct selling Cosmetic Giant Oriflame has recently launched "Pure Nature" range of skin care products. I have used their Manicure set and Rose water toner in past and loved both of them. Being a happy user and a sucker for facials [Yes I love getting facials, if not for cleansing but purely for facial massage] I have agreed immediately to try this product. And what I received was purely wonderful and fruit-tastic!

Product review: After much deliberation between fruits and tea tree, I have opted for facial kit for "Normal to Dry skin" in Tropical Fruits.

Packaging: The product[s] came in a white-yellow square box. The kit comprised of-

Pure Nature Face Massage Cream
Pure Nature Face Mask

The products came in sturdy and easy to use, designed in white and yellow containers. The packaging is simple, neat and apt.

Price: Rs 1199.

Product: A little about them in details, including the step by step products

1) Pure Nature Facial Cleanser [bottle]: It is a soap free cleanser infused with tropical fruits cocktail. It is quite mild and gently cleanses, refreshes he skin leaving it glow. 

Application: Gently massage on wet skin, avoiding eye area, lightly massage and rinse

This is to clean the face from all dust grim.

2) Pure Nature Face Scrub [Tube]: It exfoliates and cleanse skin by removing dead skin and impurities. It re-freshens and energize the skin leaving it healthy and smooth.

Application: Apply on wet face and massage with outward/ upward circular ,movement for around 4-5 minutes all over face n body

3) Pure Nature Face Massage Cream [pot]: It moisturizes and softens the skin . Also, boost the skin with tropical fruit cocktail rich in antioxidants. 

Application: massage it for 5-10 minutes to stimulate micro-circulation.. Gently wipe off.

4) Pure Nature Face Mask [Tube]: Fruit mask that intensively moisturize and revitalize the skin. Application: Squeeze the tube and apply ample amount of mask on your face without rubbing it leave it for 15-20 minutes and then gently wipe off with soft towel or rinse with water. Pat dry

A glance at mirror and you will feel the difference.

Haute Kutir Experience: I have used the product late in evening post my return from work. Obviously I was tired and my skin dull. I have been delaying my Facial appointment for more than weeks and was in much need something that relax my skin and in the meantime rejuvenate it. 

So did Oriflame Pure Nature Facial Kit did the magic? Was it useful or just another product in market? Is it worth investing time and and skin in? And how tropical the tropical fruits are?

Well, the answer of all them are YES! A big resounding yes.

The facial kit is light in texture, has fresh appeal and is quite effective in fighting dullness and dryness of skin. The fragrance is awesome, something that transports you in to the world of Hawaian Tropical fruits. Normally, I do not prefer skin care products with strong fragrance but loved the refreshing one of this. It is irresistible and a very good option for facials especially during summers and even monsoon. 

I, in particular liked the scrub and the massage cream. The scrub is mild yet well grained and best part is that you would require a little amount to scrub off your facial skin clean. Avoiding using excessive as neither do you require [unless your skin is really in bad shape]. 

The cream is amazing. Its super smooth textured, almost like velvet on your skin. I really loved its feel and ended up applying more than I needed. Sachchi!

There is quite attention to details given to product like the thick silver foil covering on the massage cream protecting the fragrance while giving rich look to same. The cream is quite good and worth trying. One thing that I did not liked as much is the Facial Cleanser as I felt its too mild or may be I am too accustomed to foam based cleanser. Also, another thing that I did not liked was- it contains Paraben. For other ingredients, you can check the picture above,

Haute Kutir Verdict: The Oriflame Pure Nature Facial kit is quite easy to use and does work on your skin. It does not take much time but does what it is meant to do. At Rs 1199, it is quite cheaper than on e decent facial that you want to do and can be used for multiple times. So go ahead and splurge yourself.

I have used their Lychee shake Cleansing Milk and loved it. So when I heard about the launch of their new essential oils, I went ahead and tried three different oils from their range- Rose, Tea Tree, and Jasmine. Each had its own distinctive benefiting properties and fragrance. 

Haute Kutir experience: We loved the oil[s] and used it purely for body massage and Oil lamp diffusion purposes. The Rose Oil smells like Original Roses and left a good feeling when mixed with a carrier oil and applied to the body. 

The Tea Tree Oil and Jasmine smell just right, devoid of any sign of artificial flavors mixed. We also loved the small, tubular mouthed bottle that helps in retaining the unique fragrances while making it easy to pour in. They are quite handy and suitable for travel. I have mixed the Rose oil [2 drops] in bathing water and it made for quite a soothing bath.

Negatives: We haven't found yet as far/ as much we used yet.

The pricing is competitive and varies from oil to oil. However, we found it quite worth the price is given that it promises premium quantity.

Overall, Yes we liked the products and would use them again. And recommend to others.

Simple and Natural Skin Care Tips for the Beautiful You

Yes, the gorgeous you. It's June and Monsoon had already hit different cities in India including Mumbai. Yeah, from the hot scorching sun, its the moist weather all around. Wonder all the impact it does on your skin, your tender skin? If you ask me- a lot. A change in weather does have a lot of impact on your hair and skin. In order to combat with changes and keep your skin healthy meanwhile, you need to take proper care of your skin.

Do not worry, we would not going entail some expensive products and treatments. In today's post, we shall discuss some "simple and natural" tips for skin care. Ayurveda has many time-proven formulas to protect your skin, make it clear and radiant, and healthy. 

Here are few tips from the basket of Ayurveda-

1) Drink Lot of water- Our body is made of approx 70% water and more. Drinking water increases the intake of fluids in your skin and keep it hydrated and help to fight any toxic accumulating inside. rather it helps to flush out the toxins from the body. Make sure you drink at least 1litre of water every day.

2) The wonder Herb- Neem: Neem is like an "Amruta" for the skin. The otherwise bitter plant is like a boon for the skin. If you can make a paste of a few Neem leaves and drink 2 spoonfuls of it, nothing like it. If you can't do it, do not worry, using Neem leaves in bathing water can also help purify your skin.

In monsoon, the skin may contact many bacteria and fungal infections, and having a bath with Neem water [Neem leaves soaked in water] or using a Neem soap helps prevent the same.

3) Ayurvedic over Cosmetics- Avoid using cosmetics with high chemical composition. Irrespective of brand, some cosmetics are laden with a high amount of chemicals including Paraben that may be harmful to your skin. These days a lot of products comes with Ayurveda as a base composition. Do try them [samples] before using and if it suits, go ahead and replace your chemical-laden beauty products with Ayurveda products

4) DIY Turmeric Paste: If you have oily, pimple prone skin, then take the raw Turmeric root [not the processed powder] and make a thick paste using milk and rose water. Clean your face and apply it as a face mask and keep it around 20-25 minutes and wash off with normal water. It adds instant glow and helps to combat pimples and oil in the skin. If you think the process is messy, then you can simply go for a "Turmeric based face cream" as available in the market. One such brand is- Vicco Turmeric. The age-old Ayurveda cream now comes with a Foam base.

5) Replace Cola with Herbal Tea- Aerated drinks a lot of harm to your skin and given the moist and humid nature of the season, one is propelled to have lots of hot beverage while the rains and then shift to aerated drinks post rain when it gets humid. This does a lot of harm to our skin. Instead, treat yourself with some Homemade Herbal tea made with Ginger and lemon, or switch to green tea, They are not just high in anti-oxidants but provide a healthy glow to the skin.

6) Keep your skin clear and clean- The moisture in the environment can accumulate over skin and cause bacterial infection. To prevent that, keep your skin cleansed. You can use a natural cleanser like water and Bengal Gram Flour.

7) Eat a Healthy Diet- Nothing can beat a healthy diet that aims to cleanse your body and provide natural nourishment to eat. Its monsoon time, to ensure that you clean and boil the vegetable well before eating them.

At the sun-set!

Whoa! what a day! We started for the photo ops at 4:30 and it was 7:00 pm but still, we were unstoppable. The clicks just did not stop and we loved going on and on.. There was so much to explore in streets of Mumbai and so little time.

As we returned back to OYO, we found 3 bloggers leaving. I was heartbroken to be left behind but thank god for the amazing bloggers that we had there, soon my disappointment turned into an evening full of non-stop discussions, chit-chat and a lovely dinner that lasted till 12:00 am in the night.

The morning was a lovely sunrise with new beginnings and new experience. Thank you team Indiblogger and Team OYO Rooms with this beautiful experience.
