Makeup For V-Day 

Cliche it may be, but Valentine's day is all about soft and subtle makeup look. Your Valentine's day makeup look should have a good blend of pinks, peaches, muted lavender and soft lights. There should be a lot of dewy touches and fresh finish in your look for the day.

No worries if you do not know how to apply makeup like a pro. Doing makeup is not as tough as it may appear. There are numerous makeup tutorials that will help you look your best, including few that I have created on my YouTube Channel.

My V-Day Makeup Tutorial for Beginners

I have recently shot a quick video [within 5 minutes] decoding a soft pink, subtle look for this Valentine's Day. I was personally very happy with the look even though it may not look as flawless in the camera [learning my camera ways day by day you see].

Highlights of this look

1) This look can be created using regular makeup products in your kit.

2) Soft Pink eye makeup

3) Pink Ombre lips using Gloss and Lipstick

4) High Usage of Highlighter [Matte and Pearl depending upon when are u wearing this look- day or evening]

5) Goes well with medium to light skin tones.

Products Used

I have used simple and basic makeup products to create this look. The products so used may or may not be specific to a brand. While, I have suggested some brands that I have used in this video, you can use your own basis your skin type, product availability and color match adequacy. For eg- I have used a mauve pink lipstick here from Revlon. If you do not have that one, you may go for anyone as long as the shade is close to each other. If you wish to select a deep red lip color, the look may change. So you need to keep that sensitivity in your mind.

4) Illuminating Highlighter

5) Three shades of Eyeshadows [details in video]

9) Creamy Lipstick Plus Long Stay Gloss

Pairing Compositions: You can easily pair this look with your light pink, white, blue and off-white dresses. If you are wearing a Yellow or green outfit, then you may like to add little browner in your makeup.
