Traveling is fun especially when you plan to visit and explore the exotic destinations across the world. Visiting a heritage location is double the fun as you get to see the exquisite architecture of Golden-Olden era and learn a lot more about the culture, traditions across.
One such tourist destination is Jaipur in, Rajasthan India. Jaipur atrracts numerous tourist across the world. Jaipur has many tourist jewels, including the heritage Amer Fort.
About Amer Fort: Amer Fort is a hill fort at the outskirts of Jaipur- Amer. It is a UNESCO world site built by Raja Maan Singh.
It is an architecural marvel and opulently built palaces with a huge Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khaas, Sheesh Mahal and Temple of Shilla Mata.
I know all these details will be availble on worldwide web. In this post, I will tell you about my quick visit to this mamoth palace fort, in my own unique way.
My Trip To Amer Fort
I visited the fort first, in early 1990s when I was in school. So this February when I get a chance to visit Jaipur for my cousin's wedding, I could not resist to revisit the palace too.
How to reach the fort from Jaipur
We took a metered cab [OLA] from Jaipur that dropped us near the first gate of this beautiful fort. The drive was comfortable and seamless. We also saw the famous Jal Mahal palace on our way. It was quite hot and hence we abstained from taking a long halt at Jal Mahal Palace. So, we quickly took an insta video of the place [check my instagram stories-travel] and moved on for Amer.
