My Envy Box June 2018

Happiness sometimes comes packed in small boxes. One such happiness is My Envy Box.

My Envy Box is a monthly Beauty Subscription box that comes packed with 4-6 different products in skincare, hair and makeup category. Often the products are from well-known brands and differ from month to month.

Every month, I wait with bated breath to receive my box. This month was no different especially when I saw their beautifully designed [as always] box and list of 5 Delux products including 4 full sized products.

What Did I like most about this box-

My fav from this box

While there are different products, I kind of liked the Plum Body glow oil the most. It is something different that I am going to try.

Value For Money

When it comes to beauty boxes, another biggest question is whether the box is Value for Money, VFM or not. Often boxes send some overpriced products and unwanted brands in name of a subscription packaging, or even some drug-store brands like Veet.

Thankfully MEB, in spite of being one of the oldest brands, hasn't succumbed to that notion. The box MRP is 850 and the cumulative cost of all products inside the box is around Rs 3600+.

For me, it is a value for money. For you, I will leave that to you to decide.

It is a gel based face wash and is specially formulated with the peppy freshness of fruits and the deep cleansing action of natural beads that helps remove excess oil, dirt and impurities. 1) Strawberry: One of my favorite Flavor, it has a soothing, skin-conditioning properties that help enhance the skin and provides suppleness.

2) BlueBerry: Bluebeery as we know is enriched with anti-oxidants and nutrients that helps condition the skin.

3) Peach: Peach is fresh and bubbly than what it may look. As a fruit, Peach is known to enhance the appearance of the skin and make it feel supple.

4) Lemon: Full of astringent and skin conditioning properties. Lemon is known as a refreshing fruit that quench the thirst of the skin and make them feel fresh.

The Fresh start Face wash is also equipped with Indian Gooseberry, an ingredient with astringent properties. Indian Gooseberry helps reduce the excees oiliness on skin. You can pick your favorite flavor[s] and start using them.

It comes in a pack size of 50ml and 100ml priced at Rs 75 and Rs 140 respectively.

How To Fresh Start With Himalaya

Ideally you shoud wash your face atleast twice in aday. If your oil levels are high or if you are exposed to more grime, then you may consider washing your face more than twice.

All you have to do is wet your face and squeeze a 25 paise coin size or less product on your face and work around gently, forming a mild lather. Apply it all over your face and even bit of neck in the circular motion, rinse with tepid water and pat dry with a clean cloth/towel.

The Packaging

The range is packed in a trasparent tube, easily depicting the level of facewash left in the tube. The packaging is mildly tinted as per color of the flavor inside and have a very young and fresh vibes to it. They are indeed travel-friendly and easy to use and store.

What Could Have Been Better?

Nothing I can think of except that am waiting for a similar range for dry skin.

My Favorites

I am heavily crushing on the strawberry and Peach variant. They feel so good in shower that sometime I use them in lieu of my shower wash and still feel fresh.

I totally loved the zing of this product and have all four variants with me to mood-play. After all, when you have 4 fun ingredients, why settle for just 1?

1) Rocking Chair: Traditional yet complete relaxant. 

Buy a wooden rocking chair with a good seat rest and keep it near a window area. You can sit by your window on this, watch the world nearby, read a good book and sip some hot beverages. A rocking chair for me is your best friend when you want to spend your time in solitude at home.

2) Small Stool/Side Tables: Very handy and high on Utility. 

They always come to rescue when you need a quick support to rest your feet while watching the tv or hold a cup of tea and snacks for your visitors. You can also place them near your sofa, add a lamp or vase and a photo frame to up the overall look of the place. If in doubt wrt space, go for the stacked ones.

3) Sofa cum bed: Flexible & Compact.  

As spaces get smaller, a sofa cum bed is a great furniture for your house. It makes space for your guests and family members alike without eating up a lot of space. You can place it in your living room or in the guest room. 

4) Chair with Rotating wheels: Style with Utility. 

You can use it for your study desk and can double up as movable furniture as and when required. It not just add jazz to your lifestyle but is quite comfortable to use too I wasn't a big fan of having an office like a chair at home until I had a leg injury and needed to move around the house with support. Using a crutch was painful and then this chair came handy. It is a good help while working on my home desk and doing a quick movement to grab things.

5) A cupboard with large space for hangers: Organized and ease of Handling

We all need cupboards or armoire to keep our clothes and other items. If you are a woman with different kinds of fabrics, read ironable fabric or the one who like to repeat wear the dress, then a wide cupboard with large hanger space comes very conveniently. You do not have to worry about the folds or wrinkle in your clothes and can hang them all together. 

6) Plant holder: Green Lifestyle: 

Plants esp indoor plants are a great stress buster and adds a unique advantage to the overall look and feel of your house.
