35 Shades of Joy: Video Swatches 

There is a total of 35 shades in this range. The variants are in Red, Browns, Pink/Peaches, and Nudes. Overall, the shades have are versatile and has a good bearing for different Indian skin tones. There is red for brown, as well a Red for the Fair-skinned women.


I have swatched all 35 shades, yes 35 shades on my YouTube. It is a simple swatch video with no chit chat, no loads of gyaan[knowledge]. Just some necessary introduction [animated] and loads of fun-filled, haute swatches!

Why Creamy Matte?

We all love the glossy lip color. However, wearing glossy lipstick is limited by occasion and time. For example, glossy lipstick is best worn during evening events or so. I would not generally recommend wearing a hyper glossy lipstick to work unless you are in the modelling or cosmetics retail.

A lot of women prefer wearing a matte finish, however, a lot of matte lipstick turn dry over the period and sometimes looks chapped on the lips. They are a strict no-no for dry lips.

If you are looking for a matte lipstick with a creamy effect that does not make your lips look parched, and gives a fresh feel then this creamy matte is your bet!

What I Liked About These Range

Maybelline Creamy Matte is a Fabulous Lipstick Cause

1) Rich creamy shade with a matte finish
2) Matte finish that is quite emollient yet does not dry your lips
3) Easy to remove and does not leave deeper shades unless you swatch so many shades as crazy as me
4) World-class yet so affordable
5) Attractive shades in hues of Pinks, Reds, Nudes, Browns, Peaches...Yay
6) It is Maybelline, Our one of the most, most favorite brand.
7) It does not bleed out of lips.

What I Feel Could Be Better
The casing maybe. I liked the uber cases but it would be desirable to have some representation of the shade color on the case to identify the right shade.

Longevity And Pigmentation

The pigmentation is quite good and 2 coats of lipstick are good enough. The longevity is decent. However, it is not 100% transfer-free which is good in a great way as it is easy to remove. A touch up is desirable if you are using nude-peach shades.

My Favorites

Though I loved almost all color in this. My current favorite basis what I wear a lot these days without makeup are- Nude Nuance and Smitten.

Dark Circles Makes You A Not So Cute Panda!

Your eyes are the mirrors of your soul. If you want to beautify your eyes, you need to beautify your soul up.

However, dark circles are no way an indicator of a beautiful soul. You need to take additional care of your eyes during your youth to prevent dark circles formation and deeper pigmentations. Trust me once they peep in, they will last longer than your best friends. Easy to come, difficult to go.

You can’t rue them simply. While you work around with your Gaajar[carrots], Chukandar[Beetroot], Kheera [Cucumber], you also need a good concealer or a corrector to cover them before applying any makeup.

Why apply Corrector?

A lot of you asked me that why should one go for a corrector and not just concealer and the foundation alone? Well, it all depends upon the intensity of the dark circles. Generally, we select a foundation shade that matches exactly to our skin tone. Wherein our skin tone and color of the dark circle's varies intensively. If you apply the same shade to conceal those dark circles, the color will contrast with the darkness and look patchy. A corrector helps in equalizing the tone and color-correcting the dark circles. And it should always be followed with a concealer that is an exact match to your skin tone or just one shade brighter [if you have fewer dark circle issue].

The question then arises which is a good corrector use?

Wet N Wild Makeup Haul and Try On

Holla, my lovely readers.

I am loving all your queries wrt to affordable and beginner's makeup. Keep them coming. 

In this video, I am going to do something that I guess I have not in any of my videos before. It is going to be a little wet and wild with a new beauty brand in my kitty!

Yes, hold ur horses in this video I am going to try some new makeup that I bought from a relatively new brand to me- Wet and Wild. I don’t think that I have tried any of their products in the past. So I picked and bought some random cosmetics from Amazon India. I tried and purchased the most commonly used makeup items.

No, it is not a sponsored post. All the products are purchased using my own hard earned money.

It is experimental. And hope both of us will have fun doing this. Me and you. Me having fun while shooting vlogging this and you have fun while watching and trying some for self.

Why Wet And Wild

I must tell you what pulled me to this brand. Here are 3 prime reasons as to why I picked this brand from numerous other brands.

1) The first and foremost reason was that- It is a cruelty-free brand. Cruelty-free means the products are not tested on animals nor use any of the animal products. I strongly oppose any kind of animal testing. We do not need to look good or feel better by bringing any other creature' life to pain and misery.

2) Secondly, I liked their look and feel. The packaging looks simple and nice. Check the product images to know what I mean.

3)Affordable pricing: I got them on some amazing pricing at Amazon.in I bought all these makeup under Rs 1000/-.

Now I know that a lot of you will tell me that I shouldn’t buy these from Amazon for the risk of duplicate products. And Amazon doesn’t return cosmetics even an hour after delivery. However, I took a calculated risk and it did not let me down. All the products looked genuine to me and were supplied by hok cosmetics. So neatly seal packed and intact.

3) An Ombre blush- mai tai buy u a drink [what an irresistible shade name]

4) Eyeshadow quad- hooked on vinyl

5) Peachy kohl crayon pencil named calling your buff. I do not remember why I exactly bought this one but I have some ideas to use this.

Haute Kutir Review: 

The makeup looked good and quite economical. I loved how creatively they have branded each. Of all the 5 products that I tried, I liked the Foundation most. Rest all products were ok-ok. The concealer was quite a low down for me. However, these were my first impressions. I would be using these products again especially the eye shadow quad. The pencil is quite a good choice esp if you want to use it to correct/conceal your eyebrow area.

Overall I would give all these products the following points-
Foundation: 4/5
Concealer: 2/5
Blush: 3.5/5
Eye Shadow Quad: 4/5
Eyeliner pencil: 4/5
